Akae Kinrante is a Japanese porcelain style, painted in brilliant gold on a red background. This sophisticated teacup (Yunomi) with its bold design, plum flowers on a gold Ichimatsu (checkered) pattern, is hand-crafted in Kosen Kiln, one of the most reputable Kutani-yaki kilns with over 150 years of history from Kanazawa city, Japan.

Type: Kutani-yaki (Kutani ware) is a type of pottery which emerged in the middle of the 17th century in Kutani Village, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. Kutani-yaki is well-known for its brilliant colors, graceful yet dynamic designs and characteristic over-glazing style and techniques.

Care
- Do not use in a microwave or oven.
- To wash, use dish soap with a sponge or soft cloth.Do not wash with a scrub brush, an abrasive or in a dishwasher.
